Removing a file from a project

If necessary, you can remove a data file from your project (.gpr). Removing a data file removes it from the project file only; that is, the file is retained on disk. To remove a file from disk, see Removing a file from disk.

Warning: When you remove a file from a project, you are not prompted to confirm the action. If you remove the file in error, you must re-add it to the project.

To remove a file from a project

On the Files tab, right-click the file you want to remove, and then click Remove from Project.
The file is removed from the project.
