Description

Adds the specified number of 32-bit real image channels in the specified file.

Output: Output file name

Specifies the name of the PCIDSK image file to receive the new 32-bit real image channels.

If the file does not already exist, it will be created.

Projection

Specifies the projection, extents, and size for the output channels.

There are a number of different parts to the GeoEdit section for specifying the projection and extents. These are described below:

Projection: this is a standard projection setup consisting of the projection selection pulldown, the 'Earth Model' button, a georeferencing string text box, and the 'More' button.
Bounds: the two options are Geocoded or Geographic. The selection projection determines the coordinate type available for the user to use as input for the extents.
Extents: The extents may be entered in either geocoded (X,Y) or geographic (Long/Lat) units. Geocoded interprets the fields in the georeference units; for example, UTM (or most projections) would be eastings and northings in meters. Long/Lat coordinates may be specified in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds form (for example, 152d30'00.00" W or 152 30 0 W or -152 30 0) or in decimal degrees (for example, -152.5).
The 'Number of Pixels'(Width) specifies the size (pixels) of the image, in the X direction (width).
The 'Number of Lines' (Height) specifies the size (lines) of the image, in the Y direction (height).

Number of Layers

Specifies the number of 32-bit real image channels to create. If this parameter is set to zero, the file can contain only segment data.

Initial Value

Specifies the initialization value for the output raster channels.

Details

CRCHN32R adds 32-bit Real channels to the specified output file. If the file does not already exist, it will be created. The specified georeference information is also saved with the file.
