F$TIME()

Description

F$TIME() is used to retrieve the current time.

Call Signature

string F$TIME ( )

Return Value

string

Returns a string containing the current time in HH:MM:SS format, with the hours representing a 24 hour clock.

Example

The following commands print out the time and date as part of a report title.

print "Classification Statistics for "+F$DATE+" "+F$TIME

Output: "Classification Statistics for 21-Mar-93  9:03:20"
