DBReadChanDesc()

Description

DBReadChanDesc() is used to read the channel descriptor of an image channel.

Call Signature

string DBReadChanDesc ( int/string filespec, int channel_num )

Return Value

string

A string containing the channel Description.

Arguments

int/string filespec:

This can either be the handle returned by DBOpen(), or the name of an open file.

int channel_num:

The channel number for which the descriptor is being read.
