Using the Compute Model feature

The Compute Model feature appears on the GCP Collection windows and the Tie Point Collection window when you are creating a project using a rigorous model. When you select Compute model, OrthoEngine calculates the math model every time you add a point to the project. This can help you determine whether the point that you collected is good enough for your project.

Note: Any changes made to tie points (TPs) or ground control points (GCPs) renders the current math model out of date. If you make changes to TPs or GCPs with the Compute model check box cleared, the information displayed in the points table will turn red and a red status message that reads, "Model needs recomputing" will be displayed. This means that the current math model is out of date and needs to be recomputed.
