A reference spectra is comprised of an unstructured vector layer (containing points, lines, or polygons), a spectra-signature line (plotted in the graph area), and a record in the table on the Reference tab.
The table shows the reference-spectra signatures available for viewing in the graph and, if they exist, their associated and unstructured vector shapes. The table identifies the plot, name, and color. Beneath the table, you can select new spectra, import shapes, import spectra and shapes, import a spectra library, remove reference-spectra records, and export reference spectra.
Plot
Show or hide a signature-plot line in the graph.
Name
Lists the names of each spectra.
Color
Lists the plot-line colors for each spectra signature in the table. If necessary, you can change the color of a spectra-plot line in the graph.
New
Creates a new entry in the Target table and, on the Maps tab, creates a new unstructured vector layer.
Import Shapes
Copies vector shapes from a vector file to the unstructured target layer on the Maps tab and updates the statistics for the spectra signature in the Target table.
Import Spectra and Shapes
Imports a spectra and vector saved previously to the Target table and target layer on the Maps tab. Populates the Target table with the spectra saved in the vector file, updates the spectra based on the image reflectance and signatures.
Import Spectra Library
Open spectra-library files, select spectra, and add them to the table on the Reference tab. For more information about importing a spectra library, see Importing a spectra library.
Delete
Removes the spectra signature from the Target table, removes any associated vector shapes on the Maps tab, and updates the regression statistics.
Export to Spectra Library
Exports the spectra signatures to a spectra-library file. For more information about exporting spectra signatures, see Exporting spectra.
