InSAR processing sequence

You can run the InSAR algorithms separately or sequentially. Supported data is single-look, slant-range data acquired in strip-map mode from single-pol and multi-pol configurations.

Important: The phase-unwrapping software used with INSUNWRAP, SNAPHU, is limited to a maximum file size of approximatlely 23,000 pixels by 23,000 lines (512 megabytes) per channel.
The processing sequence of running InSAR algorithms can be summarized as follows:
  1. Creation of interferograms
    • Ingest SAR data to extract metadata and geocoding information
    • Coregister images (automated)
    • Create raw or filtered interferogram
  2. Create interferometric products
    • Remove flat-Earth and topographic effects
    • Remove residual-orbital errors
    • Unwrap the interferometric phase
    • Adjust output products
    • Convert to orthorectified final product
  3. Temporal analysis of surface subsidence
    • Extract temporal parameters from unwrapped interferometric stacks
    • Visualize enhanced temporal information
