On the General tab, you can view and make changes to the general attributes, such as the description, type, and size, and the date on which the layer was created and last modified.
Description
The file name or description of the layer.
The information in the Description box, which you can modify, if necessary, is displayed on the Files tab.
Type
The file type of the layer.
Creation date
The time and date the layer was created.
Last updated
The time and date the layer was updated.
Number of GCPs
Displays the number of ground control points (GCP) in the layer.
Number of CPs
Displays the number of check points (CP) in the layer.
