Projection tab

On the Projection tab, you can change the vector projection and select an Earth model and a UTM zone for the vector layer.

Tip: For more information about projections, Earth models, datums, and ellipsoids, see Introduction to projections and Earth models.

Projection
The projection of the vector layer.

You can select from the following projections:

Pixel
UTM - Opens the Earth Models window.
Long/Lat - Click Earth Model, and then select the datum or ellipsoid you want.
Meter - Click Earth Model, and then select the datum or ellipsoid you want.
Foot - Click Earth Model, and then select the datum or ellipsoid you want.
SPCS - Opens the State Planes window, in which you can select the zone you want.
Other - Opens the Other Projections window, in which you can select the projection you want.

Earth Model
Open the Earth Models window, in which you can select the datum or ellipsoid you want.

More
Opens the Projection Definition window, in which you can view and make changes to the true and false longitude and latitude values.
