About the grayscale Save As window

In the grayscale Save As window, you can save a grayscale layer in another file format. You can save the file to the original layer or to a new layer.

Note: The layer must contain attributes for Raster with attribute data to be available.

Input

The location of the layer and the data type with which you are working.

Layer

The layer type of the active layer.

Raster with attribute data

Saves the raster and its associated attribute table.

Raster only

Saves only the raster data.

Save selected shapes only

Saves only the records that you have selected in Attribute Manager. Unavailable when no records are selected.

Save selected fields only

Saves only the fields that you have selected in Attribute Manager. Unavailable when no fields are selected.

Output

Select a target file for the layer, a format for the new file, and select or create a layer in your target file.

File

Select a target file for your new layer or, to select a file not shown in the list, click Browse.

Format

Select a format for the output file.

Options

Select options based on the selected format (see Selecting GDB format options).

Layer

Select a target layer. You can also select to save your new file to a new layer.

Properties

View and make changes to the properties of the output layer (see About the Output Layer Properties window).
