On the Basemap page, specify the data you want to use as your basemap and other options.
The dataset specified here will be used throughout Focus when you are working with basemaps. It can be set to a local file or a remote dataset, for example, something from a WMTS.
To specify the basemap dataset
- Next to Dataset, click Browse, and then select the data you want.
To have automatically created areas preloaded with your basemap data
- Select Create basemap areas by default and all subsequently created areas will be basemap areas automatically
To see an initial animation when launching the Basemap Window
- Select Fly to initial location in Basemap Window and all subsequently created areas will be basemap areas automatically
