The Generic Raster File Creation window, you can create files in other formats. That is, in the New File Type Selector window, when you select Other Raster Format, you can select the format you want from the available list. When you click OK, a new window appears, specific to the format you selected, in which you enter a file name, any options, as necessary, and depending on the format you select other data, such as georeferencing information. The options you can specify vary according to the format. For example, you can specify the interleaving mode of raw-binary-format files by entering the option values LINE, BAND, TILED or PIXEL.
With some formats, you can select a data type to indicate the type of raster channels to create; however, while 16U and 16S data types may be available, only one may be supported.
You can enter the number of channels (or bands) to create. Some file formats allow only one or three bands.
Under Geo-Referencing Information, select how you want to define the size of the file, enter the size in pixels and lines, and then enter the pixel size. When you select Use pixels/lines and bounds, the pixel size will vary such that the file is created with the pixels, lines, and, as applicable, the bounds you specify. Similarly, when you select Use pixel/lines and resolution, the bounds will vary. When Use bounds and resolution is selected, the pixel and lines will vary.
You can also modify the georeferencing system and bounds of a file with Georeferencing Editor (GeoEdit).
For more information about a format and the options available for each, see the corresponding topic in GDB-supported file formats.
