Viewing information about vectors under the cursor

In the Information Report window, you can view information about vectors under the cursor.

To view information about vectors under the cursor

In the Information Report window, under Report on, make sure Entities under cursor is selected.
In the Focus window, in the view pane, click a vector.
On the Editing toolbar, click the arrow beside Selection Tools, and then click Individual.
In the view pane, click a vector shape or segment.
The details of the selected vector are displayed in the Information Report window. If you clicked an area common to a set of overlapping vector shapes, the Record box shows the number of shapes under the area you clicked, and the first shape of the set.
