CATEGORY

The CATEGORY descriptor defines the format or structure of the data in a GAV data file. Currently, two formats are supported: VARIABLE and FIXED.

To identify a GAV data file as belonging to the variable category, use the following line in the GAV schema file: 

    CATEGORY: VARIABLE

To identify a GAV data file as belonging to the fixed category, use the following line in the GAV schema file: 

    CATEGORY: FIXED
