RST - Works ASCII RST

Long name RST ASCII Format
Short name RST
File extension(s) .rst

The ASCII RST (Representation Style Table) files are supported by GDB for read and write. The RST is used to attach a representation to vector layers in some Works applications. It consists of a list of representation styles (REPCode, integer value) with a graphical primitive and some parameters for each REPCode in the following format:

 GDBRST 1.0 Representation Style Table

Export of Works ASCII RST files is supported. These files are exported with a type of "RST", if it is possible to acquire a representation table from the source layers. The RST file can only contain 1 layer.

Only one RST can be stored in each file and it is always in segment 1.

An empty text file may be produced if exported from a file that does not contain an RST.
