Some Aries (DIPIX) image files (.i suffix) are supported by the GDB library. Only integer files (16/32 bit) are supported.
On the VAX platform correct georeferencing will be accessed, while on other platforms the pixel size is unreadable, and will be defaulted to 1. In this case only the top left corner position is accurate.
Existing Aries files may be written to, but new files cannot be created by Works programs.
