Format description

GDB supports reading the vector features from an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) GeoPackage database.

Distribution disk files

GeoPackage databases are distributed as a single .gpkg file.

Returned data for supported format

GDB returns a vector layer for each table of vector features plus the projection. Tables with descriptions longer than 80 characters have a text segment containing the text. The text-segment number has the same segment number as the corresponding vector layer.
