Using the Mosaic Preparation module

You prepare to create your mosaic by first running the Mosaic Preparation module.

To run the Mosaic Preparation module

  1. On the JPS Administrator Navigation bar, click Create Job.
  2. In the list of jobs, click Mosaic Preparation.

    The Mosaic Preparation page appears.

  3. Type information or select an option for each parameter, as necessary.

  4. After you specify all of the necessary parameters, click Submit Job.

The module searchs the input-scenes folder for the images to add to the mosaic, and then computes color-balancing coefficients and cutlines for each. The output is a mosaic project consisting of a source-image list file (.mos) and a folder of all information necessary to manipulate the images before adding them to the mosaic.

Only a master job is created; this module is not a distributed process.
