Using the Data Ingest and GCP Collection module

You ingest raw satellite data into CATALYST Enterprise Satellite and collect GCPs by running the Data Ingest and GCP Collection module.

To run the Data Ingest and GCP Collection module

  1. On the JPS Administrator Navigation bar, click Create Job.
  2. In the list of jobs, click Data Ingest and GCP Collection.

    The Data Ingest and GCP Collection page appears.

  3. Type information or select an option for each parameter, as necessary.

    For more information on each parameter, see Data Ingest and GCP Collection module.

  4. After you specify all of the necessary parameters, click Submit Job.

The module searches the folder of input scenes to identify all of the raw scenes to import to PCIDSK format. For each scene, the module creates a child job and submits the child job to the JPS.

The status page for the new job appears, listing the parent job and each related child job.
