Preprocessing requirements

Before running this module, the following requirements must be met to ensure the job processes successfully and produces accurate results:

Module details

The ZY-3 Raw Image Destriping module removes striping affects from a ZY-3 raw scene. Typically, each ZY-3 raw scene consists of tristereo panchromatic images and a multispectral image, and each image is an individual TIFF file (.tif).

Job results

Based on the selection for Output Rule, the module does one of the following:
  • With Write to New Folder selected, copies each input scene to the specified output folder, and then removes the stripes from the copied file.
  • With Modify Input Scenes selected, removes the striping from the each raw scene in the folder specified for Input Scenes.

With this option selected, a backup of the original source file will be created and the file name appended with .orig. For example, a multispectral TIFF file zy302a_mux_005194_256170_20170506180944_01_sec_0004_1705119288.tif in the input folder will first be backed up as zy302a_mux_005194_256170_20170506180944_01_sec_0004_1705119288.orig.tif, and then the striping will be removed from zy302a_mux_005194_256170_20170506180944_01_sec_0004_1705119288.tif.
