Each CATALYST Enterprise system is composed of several core modules with which, together, you can produce a variety of products. The system is flexible and can be extended easily for future projects.
CATALYST Enterprise uses the concept of master and child jobs to help distribute discrete tasks among processing nodes. Each master module that has child jobs polls the child at a predefined rate for its current state. If a child job is complete, and resources allow, the next child job starts. A master job is not considered complete until each child job has run to completion, regardless of success or failure.
