Figure 1 shows an overview of the possibilities for a CATALYST Enterprise system configuration. The system features a central database to store all job histories and states. CATALYST Enterprise processing servers can run on multiple types of hardware of varying capabilities. The CATALYST Enterprise central database can be on a dedicated data server or it can be on a CATALYST Enterprise processing server.
