Canceling a job

When you cancel a job, and the job has one or more child jobs, the master job remains in a Cancel Requested state until the processing of any actively running jobs is complete. Any child jobs not yet started will be canceled immeditaely. It is only then the the master job will assume a state of Canceled.

To cancel a job

On the Jobs page, find the job you want to cancel.
If there are many jobs currently in processing, you may need to run a search to find the one you want. For information on how to find a job, see Searching for a job.
After you find the job you want, click the row in which the job you want to cancel is located.
The Job details page appears.

On the Job details toolbar, click Cancel.
A message appears, prompting you to confirm the action.
Click Yes.
