Data product name and description

Name Description
Level 1C

The Level-1C product (previous refered to as Level-3A) is a high-quality,
pre-processed satellite image that has undergone significant radiometric and geometric
corrections. The data is provided as Top-of-Atmosphere (TOA) reflectance, which corrects
for variations in sensor sensitivity and sun angle, and is orthorectified to ensure
geographical accuracy.

Level 2A

The Level-2A product is similar to L1C product, but values have been
converted to surface reflectance.

Important notes to the user:

  1. The GDB support of GRUS-1 data products is read-only.
  2. GDB uses the above file names to identify the data product type. Therefore, to preserve compatibility with GDB, the file names must not be altered when the data is copied to another location.
  3. To load the data set, select the metadata (.json) file.

Returned data

Data Product Data Returned Details
GRUS-1 panchromatic image data One raster channel

The ground sample distance of the image data is 2.5 meters. The channel contains a
panchromatic band with wavelength 0.450um - 0.900um.

Panchromatic data is available for L1C and L2A products.

GRUS-1 multispectral image data Five raster channels

The rasters are spatially coincident and the ground sample distance of the image data is 5.0 meters.
The channels contain images for blue(0.450um- 0.505um), green(0.515um - 0.585um), red(0.620um - 0.685um),
red edge(0.705 - 0.745) and near infrared(0.770um - 0.900um) wavelength bands.

Multispectral data is available for L1C and L2A products.

GRUS-1 Pansharpened image data Three raster channels

The rasters are spatially coincident and the ground sample distance of the image data is 5.0 meters.
The channels contain images for blue(0.450um- 0.505um), green(0.515um - 0.585um) and
red(0.620um - 0.685um) wavelength bands.

Pansharpened data is available only for L1C products.
