You must ingest the imagery and convert it from the ADS/SOCET SET® format to the PCIDSK format. The ADS Ingest module imports the imagery and creates a CATALYST Professional OrthoEngine project file that contains references to the ingested imagery and other project information.
To ingest ADS imagery, the following files are required:
- Support file (*.sup)
- A text file of paths and file names of reference imagery (*.ads)
- TIFF imagery file (*.tif)
- Position and orientation data (*.odf)
- Camera-calibration data (*.cam)
Before attempting to process any ADS imagery, make sure all of the preceding files exist and are organized in one of the following configurations:
- Absolute: All files are referenced by the full path and file name in the *.sup file.
- Flattened: Base files are in the same folder as the *.sup file that references them.
- Common files are removed: In the *.sup file, remove the common aspects of the stored paths.
