Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Business Development Representative that can immediately improve our inbound qualification process and maintain high levels of activity in driving our direct outbound campaigns.

Scope of the Job
  • Qualify inbound leads (Marketing Qualified Leads – MQLs)
  • Measure forward progress by documenting key metrics in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to enhance and execute a direct outreach process
  • Refine BDR assets (Call scripts, email templates)
  • Develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers through the qualification of leads generated from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting
  • Manage and coordinate leads through the qualification process through discovery of opportunity, working closely with Territory Managers to confirm qualification criteria
  • Execute cold calls, email/InMail nurturing campaigns leveraging LinkedIn

Key Skills

  • University Degree/College Diploma, preferably in Business Administration, or Communications 
  • Experience as a Business/Sales Development Representative (BDR or SDR) considered a strong asset
  • Proven success in your role as a Business/Sales Development Representative 
  • You are a builder – you take initiative and exercise leadership in the pursuit of your assigned targets
  • Ability to succinctly communicate complex ideas with clarity via verbal and written communications.
  • Dynamic and confident, comfortable interacting directly with prospects over the phone, email and social media.
  • You thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment and define solutions to overcome obstacles and barriers
  • Data driven and growth minded – ability to quickly iterate and improve call scripts, email templates and other qualification tools based on data analysis
  • You execute with a plan but improvise when necessary to achieve assigned outcomes
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and cross functionally throughout the organization
  • You are highly collaborative in the workspace with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of Windows operating system
  • Speaks, reads and writes English fluently.
  • Fluency in a second language (French, Spanish) is an asset.
  • Ability to occasionally adjust working hours to provide support to international customers.
